All this new hype over “Butts” but how do they get them? A new poll shows that more than half of America is intrigued by popular reality stars Kim Kardashian, Amber Rose, and Blac Chyna- because of their butts! Each one of them is known for there over proportional backend, but the big question is, what are they doing to get them?
It seems like every time we turn around on Instagram someone’s butt has blown up, leaving us with the questions, are squats and protein shakes really contributing to their butts THAT much? We need their personal trainers in our life if so- they all have us curious how do all these perfect round rumps appear overnight?
Are you eating your greens, and doing your squats? Is genetics on your side? With all the curiosity, butt conspiracy theorists started digging- surgical enhanced bottoms is the only logical explanation. The basic surgical procedure they found has practically no scarring so no one would really know if squats weren’t really contributing to what they’re sitting on. Just your luck we’ve done some digging ourselves, so whether you’re an interested fan, and curious cynic, or aspiring Instagram model your only one little nip and tuck away from your shot at glory! Here’s the facts behind the “behind”.
Double Board Certified Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon Dr. Shienbaum of Brandon Plastic Surgery specializes in many cosmetic and surgical procedures/treatments. Dr. Shienbaum weighs in stating that “Butt Implants are not my style, or this seasons”.
Dr. Shienbaum feels that butt implants pose a higher risk for infection, cause uncomfortable pain when sitting, can turn causing an unnatural appearance, along with the long scar it requires to place the implant. So, if implants are out, what’s the new in? Fat grafting has gain popularity over the past 10+ years. Fat grafting is your own fat and it’s reinjected into your buttocks, aka butt injections. With butt injections, there’s virtually no scarring since it’s just placing a needle and injecting fat. It sounds so complicated, but Dr. Shienbaum assures us it’s fairly simple.
The surgery really only consists of two main parts; removing the fat of the desired areas, and injecting it into the buttocks. Dr. Shienbaum usually takes fat from the upper back, inner/outer thighs, waist line, and lower back. The key is to get enough volume to inject. It is then put into syringes, and the reinjected into the butt. Some surgeons have different methods of how to handle the fat. Some centrifuge it, some wash it. Dr. Shienbaum believes the minimal amount done is better because fat is easy to injure and could be less likely to live. When he injects he creates a rounder and more voluptuous tush. With fat injecting Dr. Shienbaum is able to shape and re define your waist and buttocks by contouring a more musculature behind.
The recovery time is about 3-4 days, a week at the longest. Crazy to think that in just 3-10 days you could have yourself a brand “spanking” new rear. Unfortunately, most are pretty sore after the surgery (workout soreness, like you really did do those 100 squats) and swelling does occur. The swelling is the last thing to resolve, it takes about 6 months for swelling to COMPLETELY disappear. Of course, you anticipate the first week to be very swollen, by the second week a little less and it gradually goes down.
With swim suit season at an end, butt injection season is in full swing, to acquire a free consultation with Dr. Shienbaum, please call (813) 681-5709.
